 | Orange Kings Win Round 1 Friday, May 2nd , 2042 The Mixco College Orange Kings are off to the Round 2. By a final score of 10-3 at Orange Kings Park, Mixco College ended the Round 1 and knocked out the Brooklyn College Destroyers by a series score of 4-2. "Two great teams, only one can go on and we're happy that's us," said Daniel Castro, who was named series MVP. "There's no easy games, no easy series in the FBL Junior College playoffs." For the series, Castro hit .444 with a .545 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 9 runs. The Mixco College Orange Kings will play against the Philadelphia College Counts in the next round. Philadelphia College won their series against the Chicago College River Bats 4 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |   |
