 | Cruz Hits in 25 Consecutive Games Wednesday, March 29th , 2045 The Hermosillo College Triplets fell to the Los Angeles College Silverbacks in Hermosillo College Stadium, even as 18-year-old left fielder Alexis Cruz upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games. Cruz finished with 1 hit in 3 at-bats, but could not stop the Triplets from dropping the 14-5 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Cruz. Alexis Cruz struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Elijah Gill in the 3rd and struck out in the 6th. This year, Cruz is hitting .370 with 11 home runs and 26 RBIs in 26 games played.
