 | Stutsman 5-for-5 for Destroyers Sunday, April 2nd , 2045 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Pat Stutsman -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Brooklyn College Stadium and paced the 27-4 Destroyers win over the Washington College Coyotes. After his dynamite batting performance, the Brooklyn College first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Pat Stutsman singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Fred Stewart in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Won-min Shin in the 4th and hit an RBI single in the 5th. So far this year, Stutsman is hitting .350 with 13 home runs. |   |
