 | Leonard Wins Best Bat Award in April Monday, May 1st , 2045 Sam Leonard put together a good April to earn the FBL Junior College Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Chicago College officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The River Bats left fielder posted a .444 batting average with 12 home runs, 35 RBIs and 28 runs scored. On the year, Leonard has hit .356 with 24 home runs, 63 RBIs and scored 50 runs. |   |
