 | Destroyers Advance to Round 2 Tuesday, May 2nd , 2045 A 9-6 triumph at Skeeters Park has wrapped up the Round 1 for the Brooklyn College Destroyers. "We're off to the Round 2," said Destroyers left fielder Chris Larkin, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Mexico City College Skeeters by a series score of 4-1. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said. The Brooklyn College Destroyers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Philadelphia College Counts - Los Angeles College Silverbacks series. Philadelphia College leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |   |
