 | Andrade Gets FJUCO Batter of the Month Trophy Sunday, May 1st , 2039 For a rookie just breaking in, Javier Andrade certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the FJUCO Batter of the Month award for April. The 19-year-old third baseman for the Xalapa College Black Diamonds hit .494 with 11 home runs, 23 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This season, Andrade has hit 25 home runs and posted a .434 batting average. |   |
