 | Skeeters Win World Series Tuesday, May 3rd , 2039 The Mexico City College Skeeters were good enough to get past the Xalapa College Black Diamonds at Skeeters Park today and secure the 1st championship in franchise history. "When you wear Skeeters on your shirt, you're good at something," Mexico City College skipper told the press. Skeeters left fielder David Sanchez was named MVP of the series after he went .462 with 4 home runs and 9 RBI. "It feels totally incredible," Sanchez said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment." The new champions capped off a great season with a 4-3 victory over the Black Diamonds to win the World Series 4-2. |   |
