Mike Bodamer Takes MVP Trophy

Mike Bodamer of the Hermosillo College Triplets had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2041.

The 18-year-old second baseman put up a .428 average and a .530 on-base percentage, piling up 80 hits, 14 doubles, 3 triples, 26 home runs, 73 RBIs and 64 runs scored.

He received 4 first place votes out of a possible 10. Tom Chitty of the Washington College Coyotes finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Alan Herron of the Chicago College River Bats finished third with 4 first place votes.
