 | 2042 Pitcher of the Year Award Winner Announced Sunday, May 25th , 2042 The FBL Junior College has heralded Matt Pilla of the Philadelphia College Counts as the #1 man on the mound for the 2042 campaign. This year's Pitcher of the Year Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 2-2 record, holding opposing hitters to a .186 batting average and posting a 2.30 ERA. The 18-year-old hurler tossed 58.2 innings, gave up 40 hits, fanned 57 and issued 18 walks. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Nate Smith of the Brooklyn College Destroyers finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Zach Davis of the Philadelphia College Counts finished third.
