| Barragan Bashes 3 HR for Cancún College Sunday, April 10th , 2044 Players don't hit three home runs in a game very often and when they do, it is something to celebrate. After today, Cesar Barragan can celebrate.
The Cancún College Bucs left fielder powered three into the stands at Ballpark of Cancún College against the Los Angeles College Silverbacks.
"It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run," Barragan told reporters after the game. "Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today, I was really trying on that last one."
In all, he was 4-for-5 as the Bucs toppled Los Angeles College by a score of 10-5, knocking in 6 runs and scoring 4 times.
"He is blessed with a natural home run swing," Cancún College manager said. "He gets the ball up in the air."
Cesar Barragan hit a two-run home run off Ian Becker in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ian Becker in the 4th, tripled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jonathan Showers in the 8th.
For the season, Barragan is hitting at a .338 clip with 20 home runs, 55 RBIs and has scored 33 runs. He has 46 hits, 30 walks and a .453 on-base percentage. | | |
