 | Cole's Strong Week Earns FJUCO Trophy Monday, April 11th , 2044 Steve Cole swung a blistering bat last week for Mixco College, rapping out 10 hits in 28 at-bats against Orange Kings opponents to propel himself to the FBL Junior College Player of the Week Award. Whenever the second baseman hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 19-year-old racked up a .357 batting average with 8 home runs, 18 RBIs and 10 runs scored. This year, Cole is batting .345 with 60 hits and 18 home runs. He has scored 34 times and has batted in 46 runs. |   |
