| Joly Parks 3 for Waco Friday, May 27th , 2044 Daniel Joly of the Guardians went on a hitting spree at Scouts Field and earned membership in the select club of hitters who have hit three home runs in a game. He blasted three into the stands in a loss, 6-4, to the Providence Dukes.
"I'm not happy with the outcome of the game, but it was still a great game for me," Joly said in the clubhouse following the loss. "I have been making solid contact lately, but not getting any lift. Today I got it up in the air and out of the ballpark. I had my home run swing down pat. Got some good pitches to hit, too."
The Waco third baseman did indeed have quite a game, collecting 4 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and scoring 3 runs.
Daniel Joly singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Tony Martinez in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Tony Martinez in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Tony Martinez in the 8th.
On the year, Joly has hit .410 with 6 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 8 runs. | | |
