First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .480 clip, then the Long Island center fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the SL1 Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too."
