 | 5-Hit Barrage by Rabago Saturday, April 29th , 2045 Moose Jaw left fielder Jorge Rabago had a fantastic day at the plate at Red Aces Grounds, knocking out 5 hits and pacing his club to a win, 10-2. "It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," Rabago said after his 5-for-5 performance against the Cartels. "No offense meant to Chihuahua, but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid park, it was Red Aces Grounds." After the game, his manager elaborated on the left fielder's improvements, saying Rabago spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball. "That's what I'm trying to do," Rabago said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it." Jorge Rabago singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Juan Renteria in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this year, Rabago is batting .464 with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and 4 runs scored. |   |
