 | Evans Goes on Rampage Against Dukes Friday, May 5th , 2045 It was a good day for the Cartels at Red Aces Grounds as they clipped the Providence Dukes, 8-7. It was tremendous day for Sean Evans, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-5. "I don't know what to call that," the Chihuahua second baseman told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Sean Evans singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 10th. Evans currently has a .358 batting average with 34 hits, 3 homers, 13 RBIs, 18 runs scored and a .390 OBP. |   |
