 | Season Ends for Chris Loveland of Bellefonte Saturday, May 13th , 2045 The season is ending on a bad note for Chris Loveland, reliever for the Bellefonte Acorns. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Loveland was hurt against the Tucson Red Foxes while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn back muscle and will be out for at least 4-5 months. Loveland has taken the mound for 10 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-0 record with a 1.69 ERA. The Bellefonte reliever has limited opposing batters to a .256 batting average. |   |
