 | Daniels Slaps 5 Hits Wednesday, May 17th , 2045 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Max Daniels -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Hampton Township Stadium and paced the 4-3 Buzz win over the Moose Jaw Gryphons. After his dynamite batting performance, the Hampton Township shortstop told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Max Daniels hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. Currently Daniels is batting .237 with 32 hits and 2 home runs. He has knocked in 5 runs and scored 9 times. |   |
