 | SL2 Batter of the Month Honors to Mize Thursday, June 1st , 2045 For a rookie just breaking in, Jake Mize certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the SL2 Batter of the Month award for May. The 22-year-old first baseman for the New Orleans Winter Hawks hit .306 with 15 home runs, 30 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Thus far this season, Mize is hitting .306 with 20 home runs, 38 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 56 hits in 183 at-bats and has played in 46 games. |   |
