 | Great Day for Coss -- 5 Hits Wednesday, June 4th , 2042 Terry Coss of the Omaha Buffaloes went on a hitting spree against the Tucson Red Foxes pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Red Foxes put a damper on his day and prevailed, 13-11, over the Buffaloes. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Terry Coss singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Coss is currently batting .315 with 8 home runs, 30 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 68 hits in 216 at-bats. |   |
