 | Burford Rips 3 HR Friday, May 6th , 2044 Jess Burford brutalized the Bell Center Bucks pitching staff, launching three home runs in the 6-5 Chiniak victory at Bucks Grove. The Chiniak Alouettes first baseman was red-hot, the ball just exploding off his bat all day. "I don't try to hit homers," he said later. "I try to go out there and put a good swing on the ball, and sometimes it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one." For the game, he went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "Too much Jess Burford today," Bucks manager said. "That's my assessment of the game. That's what our problems boiled down to." Jess Burford hit a two-run home run off Jordan Hamilton in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jordan Hamilton in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Felipe Torres in the 6th and struck out in the 9th.
