 | Week's Premier Performer Honored by SL1 Monday, May 16th , 2044 Guadalajara fans have something to crow about today as Guadalajara third baseman Chris Foster nabbed the Sub League 1 Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Foster. He posted a .478 average (11-for-23) this past week with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. In the current season, Foster has put up a .356 batting average with 42 hits, 6 home runs, 19 runs batted in and scored 12 runs. |   |
