 | Crawfish Chill Court Hot Streak Saturday, June 11th , 2044 It was the best of both worlds for the Shoccoe Crawfish at Cougars Field, as they defeated the Fargo Ambush, 6-5, and also snapped Rob Court's 20-game hitting streak. The 21-year-old Fargo second baseman failed to get a hit in 2 at-bats. "Nothing personal against Court, we just wanted to win the game," said Crawfish skipper . "We did a great job keeping him off-balance and guessing." When asked by reporters about his streak coming to an end, Court frowned and said, "I won't lie and say that I'm not disappointed about it, but I'd feel much better if we had won." This season, Court is batting at a .310 clip with 7 home runs and 20 RBIs. |   |
