| Borowski Cracks 5 Hits Friday, April 14th , 2045 Caguas catcher Rich Borowski had a fantastic day at the plate at Gryphons Ballpark, knocking out 5 hits and pacing his club to a win, 16-1.
"It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," Borowski said after his 5-for-6 performance against the Desperados. "No offense meant to Black Fork, but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid park, it was Gryphons Ballpark."
After the game, his manager elaborated on the catcher's improvements, saying Borowski spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball.
"That's what I'm trying to do," Borowski said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it."
