 | Carr Strokes 3 HR Against Shoccoe Wednesday, June 7th , 2045 It was a terrific day for Bill Carr, who ripped three home runs at Alouettes Park, and a disappointing one for the Chiniak Alouettes who, nevertheless, dropped the game, 6-4, to the Shoccoe Crawfish. "He was instant offense," Chiniak skipper said. "Bill really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." For the day, Carr collected 4 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters he has always liked to hit at Alouettes Park. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he said. Bill Carr hit a solo-shot off Andres Ramires in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Luis Fernandez in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Luis Fernandez in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Carr is currently batting .315 with 12 home runs and 40 RBIs. |   |
