That's exactly what Alex Guerrero did at Devils Park, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 14-8. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Guerrero said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Bell Center Bucks second baseman blistered the Canton Legends for 3 hits, batted in 6 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Canton manager said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Alex Guerrero hit a two-run home run off Willie Tabarez in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Rich Douglas in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Larry Starr in the 8th. Thus far this season in 79 games, Guerrero is batting .318 with 30 home runs, 76 RBIs and 54 runs scored. He has 92 hits in 289 at-bats. |   |
