His 5-for-5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Rutledge Gold Miners, as the club lost the game, 2-1.
The 22-year-old first baseman told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."
"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Brezinski said.
John Brezinski doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
Brezinski is hitting at a .347 mark this season. His stats show 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has played 31 games for the Gold Miners. | | |
