 | Hoover Bashes 3 HR for Surrey Friday, July 1st , 2044 Fans are still buzzing after Surrey whipped the Sacramento Spartans by the score of 13-8 at Pelicans Park. Casey Hoover smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, had 10 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Hoover said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Hoover said. "Three is just... wow." Casey Hoover hit a three-run home run off Rob Martin in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Alex Bonilla in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Felipe Rosales in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Currently Hoover has 8 home runs and a .296 batting average. |   |
