 | Acencio Crushes It in HR Challenge Sunday, June 17th , 2040 A new champion was crowned tonight in the 2040 FBL Class A Home Run Challenge at Crawfish Park. Carlos Acencio of the Shoccoe Crawfish topped Matt Conrad of the Newtown, El Dorado County Hawks by a margin of 8-6. "During a game I never try and go to the plate and hit a home run, so I had to take a different approach tonight. It worked so well I may have to change my approach during games," said Acencio. In 108 career games, Acencio has put up a .275 average, collected 16 doubles, 1 triple, and 45 home runs, driven in 74 runs, and scored 65 times. |   |
