 | Bananas LF Barnett Gets the Cycle Monday, July 3rd , 2045 Joe Barnett of the Havana Bananas had an outstanding game against the Ironmen. His 4-hit day included a cycle and 4 RBI as Havana picked up a win, 9-1, at Ironmen Grounds. "My bat felt great, I was seeing the ball well and I found some gaps," he said. "As a hitter, it's all you can ask for." Joe Barnett singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off David Stark in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and struck out in the 9th. For the season, Barnett is currently batting .353 with 9 home runs and 22 RBIs. In 12 games he has reached base at a .404 rate and scored 13 runs to date. |   |
