 | Fiore 5-for-5 Against Tavares Monday, July 10th , 2045 Leaf Rapids second baseman Aaron Fiore had a big day at Leaf Rapids Stadium against the Tavares Ironmen. The 22-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 16-6 Flying Tigers triumph over Tavares. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Fiore said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Aaron Fiore doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Patrick Rey in the 5th and singled in the 8th. In the 2045 season Fiore is hitting .435 with 2 home runs. |   |
