 | Schmitz Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Thursday, July 27th , 2045 Brian Schmitz, catcher for the Bradley River Sharks, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 1 hit in his club's 9-4 victory over the Cabo San Lucas Crackers at River Sharks Field. "Not the outcome we wanted," Cabo San Lucas manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Brian Schmitz flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Matthew Thomas in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, struck out in the 5th and walked in the 8th.
