 | Fuentes Shows Off, Hits for Cycle Sunday, July 24th , 2044 Sergio Fuentes punished the Fairview, Lincoln County Gryphons, leading the River Sharks to a win, 8-5. In doing so, Fuentes hit for the cycle, tagging the Gryphons for 4 hits in 5 at-bats. A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season. "Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the Bradley left fielder said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes." Fuentes also had 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored in the game at Gryphons Stadium. Sergio Fuentes tripled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Jimmy Kollins in the 8th.
