| Johnson Booms 3 out of the Park Saturday, July 6th , 2041 Hudgens Manatees center fielder Neal Johnson left the Piqua pitching staff in ruins at Piqua Grounds, beating the Gold Miners, 10-4, with a prodigious three-home run performance.
"The last one was totally unexpected," Johnson told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three."
For the game, the Hudgens center fielder had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6 and scored 4 runs.
Neal Johnson hit a solo-shot off Agustin Martinez in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Agustin Martinez in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
