"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Fairview, Lincoln County manager , after the game. Ruiz whiffed 6 and walked 3 in the 2-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Ruiz said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." Up to now Ruiz has compiled an ERA of 3.71 with a 3-3 mark over 7 starts. He has 35 strikeouts in 43.2 innings and has held opponents to a .221 batting average. |   |
