The reliever was today named the SL1 Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2041. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 9 saves in 23 relief appearances and 24 strikeouts in 26.1 innings. He had a record of 2-2 to go with his 1.03 ERA. He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 24.
