 | Joseph Cracks 5 Hits Friday, June 23rd , 2045 It was a sensational day at the plate for Trawick Brawlers third baseman Vincent Joseph, but a tough one for the team, as the Brawlers dropped the contest, 7-4, to the Helmick Grizzlies. Even with the loss, Joseph was pure misery for the Helmick pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-7 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Joseph, who is the 19-year old third baseman . "Joseph really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Grizzlies manager told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Vincent Joseph hit a solo-shot off Victor Cruz in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th and struck out in the 13th. |   |
