 | Henry Goes on Rampage Against Mavericks Monday, June 26th , 2045 Warriors shortstop Chris Henry had his way with Venetian Village pitching at Venetian Village Stadium and mauled them for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Mavericks ruined his great day by toppling the Warriors, 10-9. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Venetian Village credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Henry did today," Mavericks skipper said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Chris Henry singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and doubled in the 12th. This year, Henry has hit at a .517 pace and produced 7 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 7 runs. |   |
