| Rangers Lose at Home, 5-4 | The Leon Toltecs picked up a win at Globe Life Field, downing the Houston Rangers, 5-4. On the mound for Leon was right-hander Ron Martin, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winning pitcher was Martin, now 6-2. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. Leon has now won 3 in a row.
Justin Dean had a clutch at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for the Toltecs. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Leon trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.
"I still think this team can play even better," Martin told the Leon News.
