| Luchadors Slap 2-1 Loss on Hitters | In a low-scoring contest, San Diego pitcher Javier Torres was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-1 win. Hollywood, at 41-22, has lost 4 straight.
Had Vic Murillo not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Murillo hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Luchadors.
