| Felmlee slugs 2 home runs as Hitters Squeeze Past Dallas | Hollywood center fielder David Felmlee contributed significantly to his team's 6-5 win over the Dallas Jets. Felmlee, who is tied for 2nd in the UL in stolen bases with 20, went 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hitters. The win went to Joaquin Cedeno in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Andy Urso took the loss. Armando Fonseca collected save number 7.
Daniel Hernandez, who led the UL in OPS with 1.038 last year, came through for Hollywood with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. The first baseman was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 1 run and collected 3 RBI.
"We found a way to get it done," Hernandez said.
The Hitters have an impressive 43-23 record.
