The Arlington Arsenal beat the Philadelphia Fury, 4-3, in 11 innings. Arlington pitcher and Clifton, New Jersey, native Dusty McIntosh led the way. Edwin Alvares picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Stéphane Dubois was tagged with the loss. The win lifts Arlington to a record of 8-9.

Arlington used a timely hit from Jim Milam to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Arsenal ahead, 4-3. It might've been his only hit, but it did the trick.

"You play a lot of one-run games," said Arlington skipper David Fields, "and it seems there's one play somewhere in there that changes the game."
