| Queens Deal Rangers 4-2 Loss | Denver Queens starter Matt Wynn turned in a top-notch performance against the Houston Rangers at Globe Life Field. The result was a win for the Queens, 4-2. Sergio Aguilar was called on to finish, recording his 11th save. The first-place Queens have a one-game lead in their division.
Bill Alder, who is on pace for 70 RBI this season, had a direct impact on the outcome. Alder contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Denver up, 4-0.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Alder told the Denver News.
