Big Day for Shannon in 5-4 Twisters Win
Blake Shannon was a vital contributor to the 5-4 Oklahoma City victory over Leon. The Twisters designated hitter went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Oklahoma City pitcher Raul Lopez earned the win, hiking his record to 11-0. Kareem Brobbey suffered the loss. Chad Strickland nailed down his 19th save.

Oklahoma City took a 4-1 lead on Shannon's 22nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Al Reyes in the top of the eighth, propelled Oklahoma City to the win.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Shannon.
