| Luchadors Take Tight Tangle | Atlanta got a terrific performance from pitcher Jonathan Wade, but it wasn't enough to beat the San Diego Luchadors. San Diego won the Luchadors Field contest, 3-2. Wade threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for San Diego.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for San Diego. That's when 23-year old center fielder Ruben Ruiz hit a 3-run home run off Mitchell Wilson to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
"The ending was a real humdinger," Ruiz told reporters after the game.
