Rangers Take Tight Tangle
In a tight contest between the Houston Rangers and the Seattle Pilots, Jesus Arenas was the determining factor. The Houston left-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. Houston reliever Jake Reed picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Pedro Ochoa was saddled with the loss. Houston has now won 3 in a row.

Nick Harlan came through with a big-time hit for Houston. The shortstop smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Tough loss," said Seattle manager David Fields. "But we'll rebound from it."
