| Vipers Get Past Philadelphia for 9-8 Win | Vipers Park played host to some real drama.
Ivan Galiano impressed in the 9-8 Detroit win over Philadelphia. Galiano went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win belonged to Gabe Stanger in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Jose Jaramillo took the loss for Philadelphia.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Galiano hit a fastball from Jose Jaramillo for a run-scoring single. The Vipers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Galiano.
The Fury, now 6-13, continue their slow start.
