| Marauders Beaten By Queens, 4-2 | The Denver Queens locked up a win at Queens Field, knocking off the Mexico City Marauders , 4-2. On the mound for Denver was right-hander Mike White. He played a major role in the triumph. White got the win, improving to 9-1. He gave up 1 hit and walked 3 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. The win puts Denver at 47-26 this season.
The Queens got a big at-bat from center fielder Danny Albin. For the game, Albin went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 20th home run of the season gave Denver a 2-0 lead.
