| Luchadors Reel Off Another Win | The San Diego Luchadors defeated the Houston Rangers, 5-1, in United action at Globe Life Field. San Diego pitcher Juan Rosario had a standout performance. Rosario, the winner, moves to 9-3. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up no walks. The winning streak has now reached 8 games for the Luchadors.
The Luchadors got a big at-bat from shortstop Miguel Cruz. For the game, Cruz went 2-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave San Diego a 2-1 lead.
"I like the roll we're on right now," said Cruz after the game.
