| Hollywood Defeated By Rangers, 12-5 | The Houston Rangers downed the Hollywood Hitters, 12-5, at Globe Life Field. The Rangers were led by Chris Harrison. Harrison was 3 for 3 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Rangers go to 30-49 with the win.
Jamie Dunning had a big 2-run home run for the Rangers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Houston trailing 4-3 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a changeup from Joe Ward, who finished 5th in the UL in innings pitched with 150.0 in 2040, and punished it. The result was his 12th home run of the season, which put the Rangers on top, 5-4.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager David Fields said. | | | | |
