Queens Use Late Rally to Win
The Denver Queens withstood a fine game by Dallas second baseman Antonio Becerra at Jets Field, to upend the Jets, 10-8. Becerra hit 2 home runs. The winner was Denver reliever Marcos Aldaco, now 2-1. The loser was Andy Urso. With the win, Denver pushed its record to 50-30.

Denver used the hitting of Bobby Baker to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Queens on top, 7-5. For the game, Baker had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Baker said.
